Houston Is Green

Incentive Program for Commercial Buildings Creates Financial Opportunity for a Greener Houston.
                                                                        
The city of Houston is partner of Clinton Climate Initiative (CCI) and Geo technology Research Institute/ Houston Advanced Research Center (GTRI/HARC) has launched first energy efficiency incentive program for commercial buildings.

To significantly reduce Houston's emissions of greenhouse gases  and air pollutants, Houston city is coming with some realistic programs specially in building and transportation section.  The city of Houston will commit approximate $3 million to Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) as a initial funding for this program.

Eligible businesses and building owners may apply for funding to make permanent energy efficiency improvements.
